SAMSUNG x EXPOSURE SEASON 2
After the success of season 1 of Exposure, Samsung returned and wanted to do another reality competition series, but this time with up-and-coming content creators. The show was distributed to Hulu and the host, Lele Pons,’ YouTube channel.
The goal of Exposure: Creator Edition aimed to showcase the power of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra camera and inspire a creative class. Eight content creators from across the country with diverse interests and talents were challenged to use the phone to create their best work. Over the eight episodes, they tackled themed challenges inspired by today's popular social media content trends.
To support the show with organic marketing, I developed and executed an extended marketing campaign using footage from the show. I also worked with an onset content creator to capture bespoke social-friendly assets. We created over 100+ assets to be posted across social media on the accounts of Lele Pons, the contestants, Samsung, and guest judges like makeup influencer Patrick Starr, singer Tinashe, and comedian Adam Waheed.
RESULTS:
Secured distribution on Hulu and Lele Pons' YouTube channel. Premiered as a Top 10 Reality Title on Hulu.
We worked with Samsung to leverage show creative and talent relationships, creating a major shift in the perception of their phones as quality cameras and devices.
Over 100+ assets were created for the organic campaign.
CONTRIBUTIONS:
Developed the marketing plan and content strategy ahead of production by creatively tapping into the show's overall themes to make sure the social marketing aligned with the programming.
Built a social programming calendar aligned with the episodes' themes and key moments in the show.
Oversaw the asset creation process with a team of editors and managed all internal reviews of assets.
Collaborated with external agency partner to manage the review of all assets.
Created a wrap report to measure the impact of organic content.
